Jaleshar is a small town in district Etah of Uttar Pradesh. Jaleshar is easily approachable as it is just 45 kms. far from Agra and approx. 55 kms. From Aligarh. It can be easily reached during the day but during night there is no public transport available. Jaleshar has mostly narrow lanes. approximately 80% of population is muslim.

Jaleshar is famous for making metal ghungroos though any metal thing can be casted here. Generally the artisans make Ghungroo and bells. The bells make of various sizes and wieights i.e. from 50 gms. to 5 quintals. Jaleshar has very close proximity to places famous for handicrafts. Purdil Nagar is very near to it known for making glass beads. It is very near to Aligarh and Hathras famous for brass metal handicrafts and it is very near to Agra known for variety of handicrafts.
